As Rapture founded DC, first thing that came to mind is to look for members. After searching for a while, he found Giant - Who later helped Rapture in his plans focusing on the Front side, which involved two somewhat similar gangs - R3 and 3sS. At first, DC aided 3sS, Until 3sS started to treat DC like their Minions. Rapture couldn't stand 3sS' Attitude, so he switched sides and decided to aid R3. Both sides collapsed, even though R3 won the war, it disbanded because of inactivity. With the R3-3sS war out of the way, DC once again, started to scout for members. Inviting Pups; first he was sceptical about the offer, but later agreed and joined DC. Another man, Nylez, who just flew in Vice City wanted to join a gang, as Rapture saw he haves potential he invited him in.
With DC starting to expand, another gang was on it's way called NWA. It was led by Bart, old leader of the gang R3. As he wanted to arrange an alliance between EAF, DC and NWA he attacked one of the Cougars, which resulted in a chase for NWA's vehicle. After killing one of NWAs Bart started to provoke the gang, Which caused a major riot in the Downtown area between EAF, DC and NWA. Bart desperately continued to provoke DC, but it was announced that he was killed in the riot.
Not long after NWA's fall, a new gang was created by Timmy, the gang was named HS, opening their HQ near Vice Point - In the so-called HS Street. DC status was neutral with HS, as they stayed out of Downtown, and mainland in general. HS was short-lived, as Timmy joined TGC, a gang that's rising from it's ashes.
As a Co-Operation between TGC and DC was offered, both sides accepted the offer, but it was rather short because of TGC's attitude. DC contacted the Furies, as they needed help to send a message to TGC that the Co-Operation is over. DC packed up with Sniper and Assault Rifles, killing some of TGC's members. TGC immediately started a war, as they couldn't take a Co-Operation end message like that. DC managed to defeat TGC, gaining control of the whole Downtown area.
As the Downtown Cougars were celebrating their victory, Nylez was quite distant, because one of his past friends that joined TGC died in the war. Nylez started to attack Pups for some reason, the two hated themselves for a while, that was no surprise for the gang, but this was different and it seemed very serious. The so-called inside war between Pups and Nylez began, but in the end most of the team thought Pups was right about the whole argument, and that Nylez was officially a traitor, as he was seen standing by TGC soldiers during the war. Nylez moved to another city, where he began his own adventure.
After a while, DC went cold. The past captain, Giant was missing, aswell as soldiers like Mervin, Pups, Sockom and AddictioN. A new gang was rising upon called the MoD, and DC was only a legend of it's time. After a while, it has been revealed that Rapture was in San Andreas, along with some of his EAF buddies, like Morphine, Marcell, Perry and Klaus. As he arrived back in Vice City, he noticed that DC was basically dead. As he was trying to figure out what happened to his past members, he was searching through a phone book, and noticed an old friend - Nylez.
Days passed like minutes, Rapture couldn't figure out what happened to all of his past and loyal soldiers. As he strangely looked at Nylez's name, he decided to call him. As Nylez picked up the phone, he recognized Rapture's voice and it was revealed that he was in Liberty City, unaware of all the past members. Rapture notified Nylez to come to Vice City, as he wanted to put DC back up. Nylez quickly arrived back in Vice City, he met Rapture at the only place he could presume where Rapture is - The Greasers' Boneyard. Rapture and Nylez had a long chat, discussing of all the things DC has been through, and the stuff that happened between all of those different gangs.
Rapture decided to re-open DC, and call it a New Era, under the same flag and colour as before. As the Cougars are back in business, they once again control Downtown and gain most of it's profits.
Because - Cougars, are one of a kind.
After a while, Rapture decided to step down from the leading position and leave his gang behind for good, naming his successor as Pups. That was an hard blow for the crew and cougars had to make a decision for the future, DC seemed to be on the edge of closure. Pups met most of his crew to share the news with them and discuss about the future. Finally when the loyal crew willing to support Pups, he stood up and sort of a "reborn" began. With a new leader and the loyal crew, DC is starting to recover from the wounds. Now when there is no Co-Leader but Negotiator only in high position, Pups felt that he needs some more power. New Co-Leader have been made, a very loyal and from the very beginning cougar a Giant. After the new Co-Leader was set, DC had to take back their HQ. DC Have decided for a parking lot between the fire department and pizza restaurant to be the new HQ. As DC is now under control, rise from the dust begins.
After that, the Cats went inactive and they were losing reputation in Vice City, leading to a temporary disband. After months of inactivity, DC was reunited under Sockom as leader, assisted by Alan and Stalker. It was certain that the Cats would bring new law to the Downtown District of Vice City. The rise of the Cougars came with new additions to the ranks: Ki_Reddy, Stealth, and Cerbero, a veteran of the city. It seems like the Cats are rolling the streets once again...
With a bright future ahead of them, the Cougars are expanding in the Downtown District and are ready to face the law to showcase their power.
